This prominent player in the project management and advisory space, is looking for a Head of Advisory, a Senior Executive, accountable for the general management of the business’s Advisory division.

Focusing on providing advice to local and central government clients, largely in the Infrastructure and Real Estate sector, the Advisory team positively inform clients strategic decision making, and sets the foundation for project success.

**The role**
A mix of leadership and “hands on”, the Head of Advisory is responsible for formulating and implementing strategic plans and tactics while developing and leading a high-performing senior management group.

With an emphasis on building enduring commercial networks and relationships, the Head of Advisory position is also responsible for business development, ensuring sustainable future revenue channels for the division. This is a rewarding role that requires significant industry and operational experience and a confident leadership style.

There is an expectation for some regional travel to support local senior team members and maintain visibility with local market clients and stakeholders.

**Background and personal attributes**:

- Well-established network and strong relationships with primary decision makers in key central and local government organisations
- Astute commercial sensibility and strong financial management literacy including extensive knowledge on different forms of construction contracts, commercial agreements, and procurement strategies particularly in the infrastructure and real estate space
- Actively aware of political, governmental, business and industry components of the external environment, at a national and international level
- Self-motivated, highly confident with high levels of energy and passion
- An authentic leader and mentor instilling high levels of trust and commitment in a team located throughout the country
- Able and willing to challenge others’ ideas in respectful and constructive manner.
