**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Reporting to the Auckland Sales Team Leader, this role covers 3 key areas:
- Estimating and quoting
- Managing key customer relationships
- Developing new business
The estimating component of this role, includes the ability to provide solutions for our clients through analysing and scoping a wide range or property maintenance challenges, matching these with the services we provide.
A good portion of this role is to farm our existing clients within the business, while also looking for new business in this area. As experience is gained in this area, it is expected these relationships will be managed effectively to ensure continuity and growth with these existing and new clients.
As an Account Manager/Estimator, you will disseminate all sales/job information via our CRM system to the operations team who will be overseeing our site teams, working with subcontractors and liaising with our clients.
The sales component of this role includes the ability to scope, price and sell the different services we offer to new and existing clients.
In addition, you will
- Generate revenue by achieving budgeted sales and profit targets
- Develop, manage and enhance strong relationships with customers by ensuring quality of service.
**ABOUT YOU**:
Ideally you will have experience in account management, sales and estimating in the building maintenance or construction sector. A trade background is ideal and/or some practical/DIY skills would be advantageous. You will ideally be systems savvy with the ability to pick up and proficiently work within our CRM system as well as Microsoft products.
**What you need is**:
- Ideally, four years of sales and estimation experience gained within the construction / cleaningindustry or similar.
- Excellent mathematical and computer skills will be an advantage.
- Ability to manage communication and project documentation.
- Energetic and confident with proactive approach.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Resilient with strong work ethic
- Ability to successfully manage relationships and sales with existing customers.
- Diligent in following up with customers.
- Competitive and has the motivation to excel and succeed.
- Team player with natural ability to develop strong working relationships internally.
- Ability to learn quickly and ask the right questions.
