**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga**
Reporting to our Internal Communications Manager (or directly through to the Head of Internal Communications), you’ll help deliver and drive compelling and effective communications to our DCs, Stores & Support Office teams across New Zealand. You’ll have a real passion for figuring out how best to communicate with diverse groups of people and following it up with real data. You’ll also help develop communications plans and roll out projects in a way that excites and engages our team. You’ll be supported by a fantastic Internal Communications team locally as well as a broader Australian Internal Communications Chapter.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Executing the Woolworths New Zealand strategy and acting as a point of contact for our Operational and Support Leadership teams within Woolworths New Zealand
- Working closely with teams daily to challenge and improve communications for our busy store and support office teams
- Delivering clear, concise and purposeful communications through various mediums, including online, print, video, internal social media and other
- Developing cohesive communications plans and working with the business teams for key events, change initiatives, product launches and other projects
- Helping our teams understand business objectives and how they contribute to our overall results.Designing and executing a cohesive communication strategy that combines content creation, video production, digital channel management, and performance measurement to enhance internal engagement, streamline messaging, and drive organisational effectiveness.

We’re looking for someone who is driven and genuinely interested in understanding and communicating with our diverse team. You’ll ideally be comfortable working within a large and complex environment, you'll thrive on tight deadlines and your ability to influence key stakeholders will be evident in the way you find solutions to problems that might come your way.

To be successful in this role, your background will likely reflect:

- Experience within a communications role (internal communications experience is preferred, but external communications, digital marketing or PR experience will also be considered)
- A few years experience delivering projects and achieving successful outcomes
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Strong interest or background in social media/ different communications channels and reporting
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across the business
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing prioritiesDemonstrate a proactive approach with a strong drive and passion for innovative solutions; leverage creativity and self-motivation to develop and execute compelling communication strategies that inspire and engage audiences.
