You’re an experienced communications professional who thrives in high-profile, fast-paced environments. You’ll bring:

- Proven experience in communications roles, including internal and external communications
- Confident engaging with media and senior leaders
- Strong experience working with external media and established networks across NZ
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable across channels
- Proven ability to manage issues and crisis communications
- Strong interpersonal and consultative approach
- Preferred: Experience in highly regulated or publicly listed organisations, social media content creation, and Australian media exposure

**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

As a Communications Specialist, you’ll develop and implement strategies that protect and enhance SkyCity’s reputation. You’ll be responsible for:

- Leading internal and external communications initiatives
- Acting as the first point of contact for media enquiries and managing responses
- Developing proactive PR campaigns to promote SkyCity’s venues and partnerships
- Managing social media and content strategies to engage audiences
- Driving internal communications projects that boost employee engagement
- Supporting investor relations and corporate reporting communications
- Advising on crisis and issues management strategies

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with senior leadership and multiple teams to ensure consistent, impactful messaging across all channels.
