**About our Data, Analytics, AI & Insights Team**

**About the role**

As the Head of Data Strategy & AI (Senior Manager) at Genesis, you will be responsible for defining our AI roadmap and collaborating across multiple business units to execute on the roadmap. You will prioritise AI use cases based on value creation and implement these use cases with cutting-edge machine learning and AI models across the enterprise to unlock value. This role is at the forefront of our transformation, shaping and guiding our data strategy towards a smarter, data-enabled future. In this role you will;
- Develop a comprehensive Data and AI strategy and roadmap aligned with Genesis' Gen 35 aspirations.
- Evaluate the potential value creation associated with various use cases and use this information to prioritise execution.
- Leverage data to provide actionable insights that support commercial decision-making and strategic planning.
- Identify and implement AI use cases that drive revenue growth, cost savings, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
- Cultivate, mentor, support and inspire a high-performing team of data scientists and AI specialists.
- Secure funding for key strategic Data and AI projects and partner with a range of Genesis technology and data vendors to ensure Genesis is leveraging the latest innovation in data and AI.

**About you**

We are looking for a visionary leader who is passionate about the value that data-driven organizations can create and who is motivated by cultivating supportive and collaborative team culture.
- Extensive experience in commercially oriented roles, with a strong track record in driving business transformation or transformation in data and analytics functions.
- Proven capability in working with large data sets to deliver actionable insights and operationalize AI use cases.
- Deep commercial skills with a proven track record of business case development and understanding of financial concepts and metrics.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in supporting and lifting team maturity and fostering a culture of innovation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with various data management and analysis tools and understanding of how modern data platforms and ecosystems operate.
