What will you do?

You’ll be part of our New Zealand Transport team based in our Auckland office. Our team works on a range of projects, providing detailed designs delivered for government agency clients and Contractor partners.

We are looking for an experienced Design Manager who is capable of leading large multidisciplinary design teams delivering complex design solutions under a range of contractual conditions. This role requires an excellent understanding of the design process and the ability to motivate and lead large teams of people.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and it’s the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’:

- Lead design delivery for major New Zealand infrastructure projects from Auckland
- Liaise effectively with clients and contractors,
- Explore cutting edge technology and techniques - in particular digital engineering
- Take an active role in helping develop business with clients
- Be part of a supportive team that works together to meet our client’s goals

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imaging engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You’ll have several years’ experience in a similar role, an engineering, qualification and experience with complex design delivery. You will have experience with OpenRoads software.
