**About the Role**

As the Engineering Lead for the Eastern Busway Alliance, you will be at the forefront of managing the technical aspects of the project. Your role will involve implementing the Engineering Strategy and procedures for designated areas/zones as directed by the Engineering Manager.
- Coordinating design development and managing design deliverables and amendments.
- Interfacing between designers and other Alliance workstreams.
- Ensuring the timely delivery of all change management requiring design activities.
- Day-to-day management and coordination of the Construction Phase Support.
- Maintaining CPS-related processes and registers.

**What you’ll bring to the role**
- At least five years as a Design/Engineering Lead or equivalent in a construction or engineering firm, with a background in Civil Engineering or Structure Design, or construction in Civil Works or Structures.
- A tertiary qualification in Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or a related field.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with a diverse mix of people.
- Effective organizational skills, with the ability to manage time well and prioritize work. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is required.
- Ability to collaborate and build partnerships, customer focus, taking initiative, adaptability and flexibility, and understanding of the Alliance's goals.

**About Eastern Busway Alliance (EBA)**

EBA includes Auckland Transport, Fletcher Construction, ACCIONA, AECOM, and Jacobs. We’re working on a major project for Auckland, adding dedicated lanes for high-frequency bus services that link Botany, Pakuranga, and nearby suburbs with the Panmure rail network. The project features cycling and walking paths, safety upgrades, environmental enhancements, roading improvements, and a Reeves Road flyover, offering more travel options and more reliable journey times.
