Reporting to the** General Manager **People and Culture of MercyAscot and Mercy Radiology **you will be a key player in this dynamic healthcare organisation. Our Group of companies provides world class integrated healthcare services that are dedicated to delivering the highest standards of patient care, and MercyAscot hospitals and Mercy Radiology are jewels in our crown.
As an experienced HR practitioner, you'll work with the Senior Leadership Team and lead People and Culture partnering for our Radiology business which is one of the largest and most highly respected private providers of medical imaging services in New Zealand. You will paint a clear People and Culture vision with your stakeholders, and make sure the right strategies and support are in place to help this business achieve its strategic goals. As a senior member of the People and Culture team, you'll also create and lead people initiatives within our wider Group of companies, and work alongside a fantastic group of people.
Home base for you will be split between People and Culture team at Mercy Hospital in Epsom, with your Mercy Radiology team, and you'll be a frequent face in our branch network. A generous travel allowance will be included in the package.
**Key responsibilities of the role**:
- Develop, communicate and lead clear and effective people strategies & initiatives
- Champion pro-active business partnering and advisory support that is customer-centric and easy to access
- Coach, support and grow capability of leaders and teams
- Trusted advisor for all employment related issues including contracts, legislation, employee relations, training etc.
- Build effective and collaborative relationships across all teams
- Embrace and role model our Nga Turuturu principles within the group
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or relevant work experience
- At least 6 years experience partnering & developing people strategies at a Senior level
- Experience building a high performing team culture
- Extensive knowledge of NZ Employment Legislation
- Well-developed leadership, mediation and problem-solving
- Amazing communication and influencing skills
