Now is a fantastic time to join our People & Culture team in an organisation with a strong presence in the upper North Island, from Taupo through to the Far North.

**About the role**
Reporting into the Manager, People & Culture, you will work with senior leaders, managers and their teams to provide advice and support which allow them to deliver effective services to their clients. You will hold overall responsibility for ensuring effective and reliable People & Culture services to our Social Services team.

This is a true generalist role where you will be involved in day-to-day HR and ER support whilst also championing People & Culture practices and leading People and Culture cyclic activity, projects and initiatives.

Here is what you could be involved with on any given day:

- Delivering effective and reliable core HR functions including talent management, performance management, remuneration, D&I, and engagement
- Providing insightful reporting on People metrics
- Contributing to, developing, and delivering on a People & Culture strategy aligned to the business needs and organisation plan
- Providing expertise to organisation leaders to manage change and restructure processes
- Providing employment relations expertise, including leading collective negotiations
- Delivering succession planning
- Coaching and developing leaders
- Developing and leading on people solutions/projects that advance P&C practices and / or meet the changing needs of the organisation

If you have the following skills and experience, we would love to hear from you:

- Previous experience in a Business Partner or Senior Advisory role
- Experience and confidence across ER and / or IR activity
- Experience providing support across a multi-site operation
- Experience managing high volume activity
- In depth knowledge of end-to-end employee life-cycle best practice
