A great place to work. With great work to do.
We are New Zealand's financial markets conduct regulator, the Financial Markets Authority - Te Mana Tātai Hokohoko.
We're taking some bold steps to grow, stand up new regimes and do some things differently given our expanding remit. This is an exciting time to be here as a human resources professional with the opportunity to utilise many different tools in your toolkit. From leading strategically important people-focused workstreams/projects; to leading a team of HR business partners and senior advisers who support our transforming organisation, you'll do it all here.
We're looking for you to bring your expertise in facilitating great people experiences at all levels of the organisation, fostering new ways of working, passion for leadership development and ability to help with bringing our purpose, vision and values to life.
So what's it like to work at the FMA?
It's purposeful. Our mission is to create a fair and transparent financial sector that serves all New Zealanders. We are looking for people with a strong sense of collaboration and fair play.
It's stimulating. We need to be thinkers and initiators. We're looking for you as our Head of People & Capability to show us the 'best of the best' and what's possible given the vast amount of experience you'll bring from fast paced, people focused organisations looking to make a difference. In our case, we share a spirit of service and drive to make a real difference for financial services consumers.
It's supportive. We have a culture that allows everyone to bring their best selves to work. We value people with open minds, an appetite for ongoing learning and a strong orientation towards collaborative working.
Applications close 5pm Thursday 15th December.
