The Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished finance leader to join our high performing team as Head of Business Finance – Oceania. This pivotal role leads the DLF Seeds Oceania Finance Team, driving robust budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis processes that underpin our strategic priorities and business growth. As a trusted partner to the CFO and senior leadership, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial direction of our Oceania operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, insightful financial management and reporting.

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer – Oceania, you will:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis processes for the Oceania Group.
• Provide strategic financial insights and partner with business leaders to drive profitability and operational excellence.
• Oversee management reporting, business planning, and the development of robust financial models and scenario analysis.
• Ensure the integrity of financial systems, data, and internal controls.
• Play a key role in business systems change, project analysis, and the implementation of new reporting systems.
• Model and champion our organisational values and commitment to health, safety, and sustainability.

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or similar, with Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional certification.
• 8–10+ years' relevant experience, ideally in a comparable industry and scale.
• Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams, with a strong track record in strategic financial management and business partnering.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis.
• Advanced skills in ERP systems (preferably Navision), Excel, and business intelligence tools.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change, optimise processes, and influence at executive level.
• Experience in a global environment and the ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
