We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children’s Hospital, located in central Auckland.

Te Toka Tumai | Starship Child Health is the leading provider of child health care in New Zealand and the South Pacific, providing world-class inpatient, outpatient, trauma, emergency, and urgent care to children and their whānau. We seek to lead New Zealand in paediatric service delivery through the building of our reputation as a national centre of excellence in child health care.

The core business of Te Puaruruhau, within this multiagency collaboration, is to provide a health service focused on the prevention, recognition, assessment, and treatment of child protection concerns. Te Puaruruhau provides inpatient and outpatient assessments and medical follow-up for children and young people affected by maltreatment. Te Puaruruhau also delivers online and in-person education and training related to child maltreatment and intimate partner violence intervention. Te Puaruruhau accepts referrals and offers consultation from anyone including Starship, Police, Oranga Tamariki, GPs, schools, families and young people themselves.

Te Puaruruhau is led by Co-Directors (Māori Director and Service Clinical Director)who are supported by a dynamic leadership team including Team Leader, Operations & HR management.Te Puaruruhau team has over 30 staff consisting of Paediatricians, dedicated Senior Nursing team, specialist Social Workers, an Educational Psychologist, Fellow and Registrar, and Administration/Clerical staff.

**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

As a Team Administrator, you will provide effective and efficient administrative and clerical support to senior clinical and management teams and provides activity co-ordination within designated services. The purpose of this role is to ensure that senior clinical and management teams receive appropriate clerical and administrative support to enable them to concentrate on the specialist value added activities within their role.

This is a permanent part-time role (24 hours per week). Day and time to be discussed/negotiated in the interview stage.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
- A proven administrative background, preferably within a healthcare setting
- Expert computer skills and extensive knowledge using Microsoft Office packages
- Exposure to Health Information Systems, including intermediate CHIPS, PIMS, CMS, 3M & Delphic Latter will be an added advantage
- Keyboard skills at least 60 wpm typing speed
- Exposure Strong organisational skills and plenty of initiative
- The ability to learn fast and adapt easily to the changing environments
