**Ngā Ratonga - Our services**:
Creating Positive Pathways (CCP) team is an extension of our housing services and is based in Wellington. We look to provide long-term housing solutions, inclusive of wrap-around support for people leaving prison.

Our service aims to provide clients with the tools they require to reduce their chances of re-offending and ensure a smooth transition back into their communities.

Being a part of our experienced close-knit CCP team means not only will you gain more knowledge within the housing and social services sector, but you will also inherit a second supportive Whānau.

**He kōrero mō te tūranga - The Role**

An exciting position has become available to join our CPP Whānau as a Team Leader. Leading a team of 2 key workers, you will play a vital role in engaging with key external stakeholders and other relevant social service providers.

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader who has a solid background in coaching and leading people to achieve success, is passionate about providing inspiring, hands-on leadership, and works with people who connect clients to support networks in the community and assist them to reach their potential.

This role will be focused on leading team members, providing support to secure housing, building tenancy skills, support services and service navigation. In addition, the role includes developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships and taking the lead in procuring properties for the Creating Positive Pathways Service.

The role will be Monday - Friday based at the Emerge Aotearoa Office in Porirua.

**He kōrero mōu - About You**

We are looking for someone positive, flexible, vibrant, confident and passionate about working in our service.

You will enjoy working creatively, and autonomously and work effectively in an interdisciplinary team being able to communicate easily with a variety of people. You will need to think on your feet, remain calm under pressure and encourage our clients along their journey.

You'll naturally be a problem solver, and a quick thinker and enjoy connecting with the community. You'll use your non-judgemental attitude and belief to encourage clients to change and grow.

You'll need:

- People Management experience
- Ideally at least 2 years minimum experience of working within the Housing or Mental Health and Addictions Sectors
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. social work, business management, public health)
- Planning and delivering services
- Working with diverse cultures and people with complex needs
- Leading and developing others
- Report writing for government and executive teams
- Full clean driver's licence
