**About this role**

Then we have an exciting opportunity for you We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated **Senior Strategic Planner** to join our vibrant Auckland team. Here you will be providing an Urban Planning service to the NZ Planning Business Team. Our aim is to help our clients create sustainable, inclusive, and socially successful places for people.

**What will I do?**
- Provide planning input and support for a range of urban, regional, socio-economic projects across a variety of sectors;
- Develop sustainable strategies and solutions within the Cities, Planning and Design team;
- Work closely with clients, partners and stakeholders to deliver innovative planning solutions;
- Respond to project opportunities in the preparation or proposals and responses to tenders; and
- Support the development of junior team members through projects and mentoring.

**What will I bring?**
- Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or similar including relevant industry experience;
- Knowledge of the New Zealand planning framework and guidelines including current track record in urban planning, city economics and transport planning projects;
- Ability to understand and explain to others complex urban proposals;
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment and to develop successful client relationships; and
- Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal skills and desire to excel.
