Payroll Administrator

We are currently looking for a Payroll Administrator to join the busy finance team for our Higgins Auckland branch.
Based in East Tamaki and reporting to the Region Finance Manager you will be part of a close-knit finance and administration team with the purpose to accurately administer payroll and finance processes and help drive operational excellence. This is a dual function position with most of the role focused on payroll processing and the remainder dedicated to providing administration and finance support.
**What you’ll bring to the role**:
- Prior experience in a payroll officer/administrator role
- Minimum of experience 3 years, preferably in a payroll administration role
- Good understanding of account administration including accounts receivable and general administration duties
- Prior experience working with ERP systems (JDE preferred)
- A can-do attitude and the ability to multi-task.
- The ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with both office and field staff.
- Prior experience in Civil Contracting/ Construction industries - desirable.
