**Korero mo te turanga - About the role**

We're looking for a **Data Governance Manager** to lead the way in building strong data foundations that enable insight-driven decision-making across our organisation. This is a pivotal role where you'll develop and implement data governance and information management strategies, uplift data maturity, and ensure our data is trusted, secure, and compliant.

**What you'll do**

- Lead the development and delivery of NZ Post's data governance framework and roadmap.
- Drive improvements in data quality, metadata management, and classification standards.
- Oversee information management practices, including lifecycle management and compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to embed governance and fluency.
- Coach and inspire a small team while contributing to our Data & Enterprise Architecture leadership group.

**Mou - About you**

The key skills and attributes that we are looking for include:

- Proven experience in data governance and information management within large, complex environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of data governance tools (Informatica experience is a plus).
- Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
- A growth mindset and passion for continuous improvement.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and ideally certifications in data governance or information management.
