**Area Manager**

**What you will enjoy doing**
- You will actively pursue and achieve sales and profit growth targets by winning new and securing existing gas and welding equipment business and delivering customer training and product demonstrations
- Having solid understanding, monitoring and reporting of competitor activity and market trends
- Managing the local distribution model and leading the local team - including inventory, cost control etc
- In addition, you will be supporting, implementing and driving group strategy, safety, policies, and procedures
- Promoting customer-centric focus, innovation in products, services, and ways of interacting with customers that add value to the customer and BOC.

**What makes you great**
- You possess solid sales and business development experience with the ability to deliver on sales targets (gas/welding industry/trade sales, a definite advantage
- In addition, you have strong negotiation skills with proven performance to cost budgets. You understand price and profitability management
- Your demonstrable experience in people, relationship management and customer focus will be exemplary
- Bringing excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills will aid your success in this role
- In additionm you are computer literate especially in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, SAP, CRM
- Current Driver’s License is essential
