Novotel New Plymouth Taranaki opened in December 2015. The exceptionally designed hotel creates a sensational impression at the entrance to New Plymouth CBD. Novotel New Plymouth has 85 rooms, serves a la carte and buffet breakfast, has an a la carte lunch and dinner restaurant and bar, conference facilities for up to 250 delegates and an on-site fitness centre.

To continue our focus on quality, we are seeking part-time Housekeeping Room Attendants (will include public area duties).

**Specific Requirements**:

- Previous housekeeping (cleaning) experience in a hotel is an advantage
- Friendly, helpful and positive attitude.
- Physically able, energetic and fit
- Extremely reliable and punctual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and make use of your excellent time management skills to adhere to strict timelines.
- A keen eye for detail and PASSION for quality and presentation
- Ability to work shifts on a rotating weekly roster
- Weekend, public holiday and school holiday availability are required
- Availability from 08:30/09:00 for 5-6 hours any day of the week (may be required to work outside of these hours on occasion for late departures)
- Shifts for public area cleaner will vary day to day, week to week when cover for the Public Area cleaner is required
- The public area cleaner role is a physically demanding role, you should be able to stand for long periods of time, be energetic and fit, perform physical and repetitious tasks including pushing, pulling, lifting (heavy up to 25 kgs), and gripping.

Wage Rate - $23.65 per hour

**_Please note to be considered for any of the roles you must reside in New Zealand and either be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or hold a current valid work visa. Holiday visa holders will also be considered if willing to commit for 6 months or more to this role._**

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-25 per week

**Salary**: From $23.65 per hour
