National Manager - Merchandising

These roles don’t come up often. An Executive Leadership role with a combination of Category, Marketing and Pricing. If you have extensive category experience at a senior level, then this could be the one for you.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Overall governance of Category Management and Produce Lifecycle Management
- Ownership of growth strategies across the full category portfolio
- Achieve gross margin targets
- Supplier relationship management
- Leverage supplier relationships to ensure stock supply to meet demand
- Lead and engage the business as a whole
- Liaise with Blackwoods offshore sourcing teams

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Organisational skills, and ability to plan to meet deadlines

- Demonstrates strong leadership qualities, and can build a strategic high-quality team dynamic
