**About the Role**:
Higgins Contractors is growing, with that comes new opportunities in an exciting new role as our National Fleet Manager.

As our Fleet Manager you will be providing leadership and support nationally to one of the country’s largest fleets, across the Higgins business You will have a strong focus on the strategic management of our Assets and less on the day to day. Establishing, implementing and maintaining a companywide optimised whole of life fleet management lifecycle is key - buy well, maintain well, sell well

You will use your analytical skills and strategic mindset to guide and shape the way we procure, use and dispose of our Fleet Assets. Your work will inform and contribute to our Capex planning in both the immediate (annual) and long term (5 year) Capex planning. You will set and drive our minimum National Fleet standards and support our Branches to achieve compliance by developing and implementing an auditing framework. Whilst you will have no direct reports in this role you will be well supported, working closely with our Regional teams providing guidance and support to ensure our National Fleet sets us apart

This is a Leadership role that you can shape and develop.

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Strong focus on all things Health, Safety and Environmental
- Proven experience at a Management level of plant and equipment Fleet Asset Management systems
- Understanding of legislative frameworks around plant and equipment.
- Ability to analyse Fleet telematic and financial data and develop strategies to optimise and improve utilisation

- High level communication skills with the ability to enhance communication and build and maintain effective relationships
- Ability to travel when required across our Higgins regions
