**About the Role**
We have an exciting opportunity available to join the Community and Whānau Wellbeing team in Te Manawa Taki as the **Regional Prevention Development and Delivery Lead**. This role will provide leadership in the development and delivery of immunisation and screening programmes of work across the region - with a current priority being improving immunisation rates in Te Manawa Taki, aligned with the immunisation health target. You will work closely with national, regional and local NPHS leadership, including clinical and professional leads, wider HNZ and cross-system partners to support implementation and continuous improvement.
**About the Team/Service/ Location**
The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries focusing to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.
**About you**
You will be a strong leader with experience in programme and project development, working in complex systems, cross-sector working and ability to influence to achieve outcomes. You are able to lead change, innovation, capability development and quality improvement across a system and use sound judgement to develop options and provide advice. You are experienced engaging with key stakeholders to ensure the voice of those with greatest need is well represented.
**You have**:
- A bachelor's qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years programme, or project, development experience
- Demonstrated broad prevention or public health experience
- Demonstrable experience in developing innovative ways of working and leading through others to achieving this
- Experience in leading change and/or service and quality improvement initiatives
