Brosnan remediates, refurbishes, upgrades, converts, and maintains multi-unit residential and non-residential buildings. Our mission is to understand the unique needs of each client and develop holistic solutions that address all of their building’s needs - from ECI or Design & Build to Construction Management to Body Corporate Finance and Building Maintenance.

With offices already in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Queenstown and projects all across New Zealand, Brosnan is opening a new office to serve our clients in the Bay of Plenty and Waikato. This expansion comes on the heels of recent project awards in Tauranga and Taupo and several prospective projects across the region. As we set our sights on growth in this region, we are looking for a forward-thinking Regional Manager to build and lead the team.

**What can you expect with this role?**

As the Regional Manager, you are the local leader, backed by national expertise. You play an important role in making a lasting, positive difference and restoring confidence in construction.

The Regional Manager’s mission is to lead the charge, driving a regional strategy focused on building, sustaining, and developing the business unit. This means you will be at the forefront of managing not only strategy, but also relationships, business development, bids, contracts, and most importantly, the great team that makes it happen. You will be responsible for forecasting and reporting, setting the stage for success in the region.

We are looking for someone committed to continuous improvement and education, who isn’t content with the ordinary or afraid of change.

**What will the day-to-day-involve?**
- Contribute to the group’s strategy, annual operating plan and budget and lead the development and implementation of the region’s annual operating plan and budget
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to strategic management, sustaining, and developing the business
- Communicate regularly with the General Manager to keep them informed of significant developments
- Build, develop, and support the regional team
- Manage, coach, and mentor direct reports
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers and their influencers
- Ensure thorough knowledge of Bay of Plenty and Waikato market
- Collaborate with the preconstruction team and participate in preparing accurate and compelling submissions
- Communicate professionally in all stakeholder management situations
- Lead post-tender negotiations
- Manage the reviewing and signing of head conditions of contract
- Frequent travel within the region and intermittent trips to other regions to meet with senior management

- Strong operational, commercial, contractual, and business acumen
- Readiness to embrace growth and adaptability
- Proven track record within the commercial and operations management of large, complex projects
- Well-developed commercial understanding and aptitude for assessing contract risks
- Strong financial management skills - the ability to oversee budgets to ensure sustainable cost management
- Effective project control skills, ensuring accurate forecasts and project positions
- Established connections within the region and the ability to build relationships
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
