Laminex New Zealand is the leading supplier of high-quality surfaces in New Zealand, our portfolio features a range of locally made and imported products for benchtops, cupboards, walls and building products. Our team of 200 are spread across the country. We have manufacturing plants, distribution centres and regional branches, all who rely heavily on the Supply Chain team.

**The Role**
- Reporting to the National Supply Chain Manager, you will be joining a very high-performing team ready to support you since day 1. You should be process driven to identify existing process gaps and quickly collaborate with your team to fix them at the same time to build credible relationships across all internal functions of our business, especially with Sales, Marketing, Distribution Centres and Branches nationwide. You will be supported by 3 well-skilled supply planners, so great leadership presence, mentoring and coaching experience is a must

Responsible to provide consolidated hub inputs for Supply Reviews as part of the IBP/ITP cycles to agree upon effective capacity plans that balances purchasing of raw materials and finished goods, logistics cost, and inventory targets to ensure that all supply issues are effectively framed and escalated to relevant forums for resolution. You must be process driven and have a natural interest in analysing information in order to make strategic and tactical decisions to improve existing processes across the supply planning, purchasing and inventory management processes.

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following:

- At least 3-5+ years in a similar role managing a material requirements planning process (MRP).
- At least 3+ years of strong leadership experience
- Previous experience in SAP/IBP or SAP/APO or similar ERP will be an advantage
- A high degree of customer focus to develop and maintain internal and external relationships
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain methodology
- Exceptional problem solver and process driven
- Advanced Excel skills, analytical skills and executive reporting capabilities
- Happy to work autonomously, but a collaborative team focus comfortable to rollup the sleeves to support the team as required
