Stuff, New Zealand's premier content platform, is seeking a skilled Senior Journalist to join our National team. As a Senior Journalist - National, you will play a pivotal role in curating and producing news content tailored for our diverse audience.
The **Stuff** you'll do:
- Source, write, edit, and publish news stories across multiple platforms including text, digital, audio, video, and social media.
- Focus primarily on key Wellington issues.
- Generate original content ideas and actively contribute to live storytelling, setting the news agenda.
- Uphold Stuff's Editorial Code of Ethics and Practice while producing content to the highest standards.
- Monitor the media landscape to identify emerging trends and stories, ensuring our audience is well served.
- Collaborate with team members to innovate and remain at the forefront of digital storytelling techniques.
- Master production and storytelling techniques across digital, audio, and video platforms.
- Sub-edit and publish team content as needed, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Actively engage with our audience on social platforms, fostering strong connections and promoting Stuff's activities.
- Support the growth of Stuff's membership base and integrate content into social platforms and products.
