Senior Communications and Engagement Adviser Develop, implement and maintain the delivery of high-quality communications. Te tūranga - The role The Senior Communications and Engagement Advisor will be responsible for developing and implementing communication plans and activities to help Payment Services and Te Pūtea Matua achieve its objectives. Reporting to the Manager External Stakeholders, this role will primarily support the Payments Directorate and will have a dotted reporting line to Director of Payments, and support work across the different systems, projects and initiatives. You will:
- Advise the wider directorate on communications with key stakeholders including regulators, internal and external committees, and incident management consistent with RBNZ messaging, narrative and brand
- Ensure Payment Services communications are aligned to Te Pūtea Matua brand standard and communication priorities.
Ō pūkenga - About you You will have experience at a senior communications level and be able to develop and deliver customer focused communications, plans, strategies and tactics. You will have a strong ability to influence effectively across an organization and understand the importance of building effective relationships with your stakeholders. You have a courage and determination that sees you challenging current practices, and you are passionate about building stories and narratives that are both engaging and informative. In addition to this you will have;
- The ability to write and deliver plain language operational communications
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills
- Creativity and enthusiasm for producing engaging and informative communications
