**Mō te tūnga | About the role**

We are looking for a Contact Centre Representative to join the Community Dental Service, working during the week and currently based at Hillmorton Hospital. Hours of work are between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

As a team player you will be working with a small team managing inbound and outbound calls and e-contact, ensuring the children in our community have timely access to dental services by ensuring they are enrolled with the service and booking their required dental appointments.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Providing courteous and efficient service, both over the phone and face to face
- Utilising and maintaining our database
- Provide information and advice to patients
- Booking appointments
- Manage inbound and outbound calls and enquires
- Resolve conflicts or difficult enquires

- Excellent interpersonal skills - able to relate to patients, their whānau and Te Whatu Ora Waitaha Canterbury staff
- Attention to detail
- Organisational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Active listening skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Able to pick up and use new systems and technology
- Microsoft Suite Skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience working in a call centre environment (desirable)
