PGG Wrightson is a leading nationwide provider of products and services to the rural sector. We are helping grow the country through our knowledge, service, and expertise.

Our Christchurch-based Contact Centre is the first point of contact for the majority of our internal and external customers. We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team starting January 2026.

The Customer Service Representative will be taking orders and requests for a variety of products and services, with accuracy being a major component of the role, while also managing key processes and projects offering variety in your day.

This is not your standard Contact Centre role. We require someone who consistently demonstrates a 'can do' attitude and delivers to a high standard. Our great team culture plays an important part in the success of the Contact Centre.

Key duties:

  • Provide effective customer service and build rapport with clients and suppliers
  • Take accurate orders for products and services
  • Inbound and outbound customer service calling
  • Provide information to clients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Proactively assist colleagues and suppliers with queries and problem solving.

Skills and experience:

  • Personable and approachable with a proven ability to build relationships
  • Customer service experience and excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail
  • Rural experience is advantageous but not strictly required.
