**Your Role & Responsibilities**:
Manage all site improvement projects within the “Wave” system, ensuring timely and complete delivery across the full project lifecycle.
- Lead brainstorming workshops and conduct waste/loss analyses to identify and prioritise improvement opportunities.
- Drive the implementation, auditing, and optimisation of the plant’s Performance Management System (PMS) to support key operational outcomes.
- Collaborate with Finance through the Financial Performance Management Process (FPMP) to highlight performance gaps and track action plans.
- Lead “Reinvent” initiatives and ensure cost-saving targets are achieved.
- Partner with Operations and cross-functional teams to embed continuous improvement practices and foster engagement with Kaizen, KTS (Key-To-Success), and WCW (World Class Warrior) programs.
- Participate in global Manufacturing Process Group (MPG) activities, sharing and adopting best practices locally.
- Maintain and develop the site’s KPI dashboard, ensuring clear, data-driven decision-making and year-on-year improvement.
- Mentor and support employees through Lean Six Sigma training to build internal capability in project management and structured problem-solving.
- Hamilton based role with frequent travel to our Auckland and Wellington sites

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A tertiary qualification in Material Science, Polymer Science, or Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in continuous improvement roles, ideally within manufacturing.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is essential; Black Belt certification preferred.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional projects and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Practical manufacturing experience with a solid understanding of processes and equipment.
- Competence in ERP systems and strong analytical skills.
- A proactive, resilient mindset with a passion for operational excellence and team development.
