The Strategy &Transformation group is enable New Zealand Police to deliver on their strategic intent. As a Change Manager you will take ownership and responsibility for delivering the Change and stakeholder management responsibilities within the programme or projects. The Change Manager is a critical part of delivering change within NZ Police. This role is a hand on, delivery focused role which guides and influences change through the project delivery life-cycle in order to ensure business readiness and the successful delivery of NZ Police business outcomes.

**As a Change Manager, you will**:

- Create change documentation and deliver change activities that align to the NZ Police Change
- methodology and framework
- Create a change management plan to set the approach and strategy
- Identify audiences and own the relationships and engagements with the assigned business champions /stakeholders
- Undertake change impact assessments, draw conclusions from the analysis and identify the change interventions required
- Develop the change and transition plans and activities that need to take place
- Work with training developers and communication experts to deliver the required training and communications to impacts groups
- Develop and lead change readiness assessments
- Identify activities to embed the process and system changes in the business
- Measure change effectiveness and identify learning's across the work stream
- Align work stream change plans and products to wider programme change initiatives

**To be successful in this role you will have experience in or be able to**:

- Influence and engage teams, partners and the community
- Have experience delivering complex business change projects
- Solve problems and lead sound decision making under pressure
- Plan and prioritise team responsibilities
- Know how to proactively manage or escalate identified risks
- Know how to lead engagement with our diverse communities
- Have the experience to lead collaborative engagement with partners and stakeholders
- Be able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including members of the NZ Police
