At Builders Academy NZ, we are working hard to build a new organisation to support the construction sector and we are looking for passionate, skilled people who want to inspire the next generation of apprentices to become great builders.
**About the role**
As a Business Development Advisor, your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell construction apprenticeships to construction businesses in the region. You will play a vital role in expanding our apprenticeship program and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry.
If you are keen to share your passion, skills and knowledge by contributing to shaping the future of the construction industry by promoting and selling our high-quality apprenticeship program, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identify and target potential businesses in the construction industry to promote and sell apprenticeship programs.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the apprenticeship enrolment process.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations to stay informed and make recommendations for program enhancements
- Keep up to date with developments in apprenticeship programs and relevant legislation and regulations
**About You**
- You have experience in selling construction industry training / vocational training initially focused on carpentry trades
- You have developed and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and business growth objectives
- You have well developed relationships with construction industry employers who train apprentices

- You enjoy sharing your passion for the construction industry
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- You can organise your time with efficacy
- Ability to work and learn in the digital environment
