**About The Role**:
The Business Development Lead is responsible for:

- Increasing the base of contracted client organisations with dedicated on-site staff support through new business prospects and converting on-call contracted organisations to on-site contracts.
- Increasing the uptake of wellbeing services by employees of our client organisations.
- Developing strong working relationships with identified key stakeholders in strategic accounts to ensure Workplace Support is an integral part of their Wellbeing and Health and Safety plans.
- Ensuring a strong brand presence of Workplace Support through digital media, industry forums and regional association events, raising our visibility.

**Skills & Experience**:
You will have:

- A relevant qualification in business development/management, or significant experience in sales and marketing, and growing new business
- A track record of success in business development, with evidence of achievement of growth targets
- A track record of success in stakeholder engagement and customer relationship management
- A collaborative, proactive and engaging style, with demonstrated ability to influence with credibility
- A client-centric relationship management style that understands the importance of retaining customers as well as reaching new customers
- An outcome focus and energy, able to demonstrates empathy and a high level of self-awareness
- Self-motivation, resilience and can work autonomously and collaboratively
- Demonstrated excellent organisational and time management skills, with a focus on service quality and excellence
- Ability to travel away from Christchurch to our other locations around the South Island
- A high level of integrity that builds trust and confidence
- An understanding and empathy with a mission-based service, being open to working in a Church based service organisation and be confident in participating in spiritual or reflective sharing.
