Do you have a flair for helping people learn and grow? We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Advisor to join our organisation.
**About the role**:
This role provides an opportunity to create, coordinate and implement targeted learning solutions and programs to support the development of skills and capabilities of all kaimahi.
**You will**:
- Facilitate learning and development interventions, workshops and courses.
- Collaborate with units across the organisation to identify capability gaps in learning and development needs.
- Ensure learning and development initiatives are aligned with the Council competency framework.
- Provide support to develop coaching and mentoring opportunities.
**Ideally, you will**:
- Hold a tertiary qualification in Adult Education, Human Resources or related discipline, or relevant experience to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge.
- Ability to influence, motivate, support, and develop others.
- Have strong experience in learning and development and organisation development.
- Knowledge of tikanga Māori and Te Reo Māori is advantageous.
- Well-developed professional verbal and written communication skills.

- Hours of work_ - Monday to Friday, ideally 40 hours per week with exact start and finish times to be agreed.
- Location_ - _This position is primarily based at the Christchurch City Council Civic Offices, 53 Herefprd Street
