In the newly created role of Kaihautū Māori you will provide the strategic direction for how we grow and build as well as guiding and managing relationships with our Executive and Senior Leaders and Tangata Whenua.

This is meaningful work for Z, we have started the mahi and this opportunity will provide the chance to bring your knowledge, have a real impact on Z’s future, shape our interactions with Tangata Whenua and implement creative solutions.

This role can be based in either Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington or Ōtautahi Christchurch.

**You will have the opportunity to**
- Build and deliver strategy development and planning, frameworks, programmes, and approaches
- Provide insight and advice on matters concerning kaupapa Māori and facilitate effective solutions and provide cultural advice, tautoko and awhi in the mahi we do
- Implement a Te Ao Māori perspective across all parts of Z Energy by building bridges between our Z whānau, so our people learn and understand how to connect, engage, and partner with Tangata Whenua in an appropriate manner
- Be accountable for building and strengthening deep authentic relationships and partnerships with Tangata Whenua including taking the lead on Māori engagement
- Build, lead and develop the Māori team in a way that is tika and pono to Te Ao Māori and based on mātauranga Māori
- Travel within Aotearoa to meet with stakeholders as needed
