Argus Fire Protection is a well-known New Zealand company with over 30 years' experience in the fire protection industry. We cover all aspects including fire system design, installation, and ongoing testing and maintenance of fire systems.

We have an exciting opportunity available for the role of Technical / Project Administrator in our Auckland office.

Working with a fantastic group of people, you will be providing administrative support to the Auckland Sprinkler Contracts team. This includes support activities related to customer liaison, the input of data, project submittals, reports including manuals, contractor and supplier management, and health and safety.

We are looking for someone with:

- Previous administration experience in the construction, building services, or fire industries.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel/Outlook/ Aconex/Compass/Fireform.
- An understanding of NZ Fire Standards, the Building Code, and local building compliance regulations would be ideal however full training will be given.
- Tertiary qualifications would be highly regarded.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A positive attitude, 'can do, will do' approach.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- A bias towards proactivity with strong self-motivation.
- The ability to think independently, be solutions orientated and follow through on promises.
- The demonstrated ability to manage the details.
- The demonstrated ability to interact confidently with others and to actively listen.
- The demonstrated ability to work in a changing and dynamic team environment.
- Strong process, time-management, and organisational skills.
- A high level of computer system literacy including using Microsoft products.
- Experience working within a fast-paced team environment.
