**The Role**

To lead and grow our client's product marketing function to support the creation of a “world-class marketing function”, which includes leading and creating the product marketing strategy in line with the overall marketing strategy.

**Key Accountabilities**

**Strategy**
- Lead product marketing strategy and execution, including how the value proposition gets delivered to customers and partners in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Lead the product marketing strategy in line with the overall marketing strategy, whilst collaborating with other product marketers to evolve, create and deliver on the strategy.
- Build the foundations for a scalable product marketing function within the organization including process, technology and resources in collaboration with the Head of Marketing.
- Drive meaningful insights into the business and product strategy based on market trends and interactions with global teams and customers, and lead the development of metrics to help measure product marketing impact.

**Customer & market understanding**
- Gain deep customer empathy and understanding of the challenges and wins that our users encounter as they use the platform in collaboration with our Insights team, and develop ideal customer profiles and personas to support our overall marketing strategy.
- Create customer journey maps for customer and buyer profiles so we can effectively measure and maximize efficiency in moving our users through the funnel to ensure we can optimize our lifecycle marketing strategies.
- Perform competitive research, in collaboration with other product marketing roles and help position us to win more customers that support both our self-service and sales-assisted function.
- Collect and analyze data that supports their positioning in the market to buyers.

**Sales enablement, playbooks, & content**
- Develop and execute a sales enablement strategy for our target customer profiles
- Develop playbooks, plays & offers that support our GTM teams in effectively communicating their story and compel buyers to choose them.
- Deliver training and sales tools for our sales and customer success teams to create deeper product understanding and help them to be more efficient and effective
- Build sales assets, content & tools to support reps & buyers during the sales process.
- Work with our awesome customers, and the wider marketing time, to create case study content and customer success stories.
- Help discover our product “champions” with the sales organization and nurture them to help promote us in the community and be part of our community programs

**Pricing & Packaging**
- Work with GTM to define pricing, packaging and tiering as part of the product development lifecycle, ensuring customer needs and commercial needs have been taken into consideration
- Support our growth team to explore new monetization opportunities and then work with GTM and the wider marketing organization to bring these to market

**Skills & experience**
- Possess exceptional ability to work cross-functionally, with marketing, growth, sales, product, and executive leadership
- Deep understanding of SaaS marketing, with at least 5+ years of marketing experience preferably at a B2B company
- Experience leading marketing teams across a broad range of roles
- Previous experience creating, developing and delivering lifecycle marketing strategies across the entire customer journey
- A strong understanding of marketing metrics to help drive the right outcomes that influence revenue growth.
