**What you’ll be doing**:
This is an exciting time to join the Chorus team We have built a robust Business Resilience program that spans Health & Safety, Quality, and Business Continuity, and in this role, you’ll have the opportunity to really focus on championing Health & Safety. You’ll be accountable for delivering:

- Business support and advice
- Hazard and Risk assessment
- Event & Incident Management
- Assuring the Systems of Safety
- Continuous Improvement
- Engagement and Influence
- Business Compliance

The H&S Business Partner role is a critical role within the Business Resilience Team, providing our complex corporation with the necessary expertise, direction and enthusiasm that will ensure we exceed in our Health & Safety obligations. There will be a small element of Business Continuity Management (BCM) and partnering in addition to the H&S focus.

We will rely on you and your deep understanding of what an effective H&S Business Partner role involves. There will be an emphasis on how you effectively manage internal and external stakeholders, build strong partnerships, and relationships and look for ways to continuously improve on how we can support the business.

**What you’ll bring to the table**:
We are looking for someone with extensive experience in H&S roles, an individual who can hit the ground running and really take accountability in this space. In addition to 5-7 years’ experience and appropriate qualifications you’ll have:

- Is recognised as an expert in H&S, understands what good looks like across regulatory and industry good practice landscapes
- Has an understanding of emergency management and business continuity management
- Passion and a strong commitment to continuous improvement
- Extensive stakeholder management experience with the ability to engage, influence and drive results through people across diverse groups
- A proven track record as a leader through investigations, audits, and corrective action management
- A strategic and critical thinker with strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making ability alongside excellent organisational and planning skills
- A high-level of communication skills, able to express ideas and processes in an effective way that is understandable at all levels throughout Chorus
- The ability to prepare, edit and deliver highly accurate written pieces of work including technical documents
- The desire to be a team player with high focus on collaboration and a ‘can do’ attitude
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
