An opportunity for 2 Health & Safety professionals to partner with the wider business to support the overall safety and well-being of employees, visitors and our workplace.
About the Role
We have two exciting positions based at our Gracefield site that will join our awesome Health and Safety team to help build long lasting working relationships and to coach and guide our leaders on best practice. This role is key within Health & Safety to build capability across the organisation to enable them to make informed Health and Safety decisions.
You will build relationships and expertise with our teams to develop understanding of key health and safety needs for each team and be a trusted source of information and advice. Adept at partnering others, you will work on longer term solutions with key stakeholders to change culture, processes and procedures within their complex environments

**Your day-to-day will include, but is not limited to**:

- Work with teams to perform Investigations and inspections
- Focus on worker engagement and embed with the teams to understand their work
- Work with People Experience in delivery of the Occupational work-related health plan for the organisation
- Assist in the design of products related to worker related health
- Coach and train other members of the H&S team in technical aspects
- Complete complex or sensitive risk assessments where necessary
- Design, develop and implement strategic initiatives that contribute to the overall health and safety objectives

About you
As an experienced H&S professional, you are passionate about developing and delivering strategies and business performance plans. You're a confident communicator and naturally a people-oriented person, eager to help and support others within Health and Safety. You will utilise your previous experience within a similar or senior H&S role to continuously improve in the new ways of working.

**You'll also have**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification, in H&S or a related discipline
- Extensive expertise in Health and safety, working with a range stakeholders
- Up to date understanding of H&S legislation and best practice, particularly around management of critical risks
- Worker related health knowledge
- Strong ability to influence others - Coaching and guidance
- Strong understanding of emergency management planning
- Ability to design and deliver strategic initiatives
