In this role you will be a key part in supporting the People and Culture function and will be partnering closely with the Distribution Centre team as well as other functions within Ceres Organics. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role with lots of variety where no two days are the same, if you are looking to work for a company that truly cares about its people you've found the right place **Responsibilities include**: People and Culture Business Partnering - Support the Head of People & Culture in bringing to life a People and Culture strategy that is focused on creating meaningful people experiences through our purpose led culture. - Establish and maintain effective relationships with front line managers. Support the development of managers to help build leadership capability. - Manage core operational HR practices including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, disciplinary processes, well-being initiatives, policy creation and review etc. - Support front line managers on all people related matters with sound advice that puts the person at the centre. - Provide advice to managers that is pragmatic and legislatively complaint in line with the Employment Relations Act 2000 and other relevant legislation in both NZ and AU. Health, Safety & Wellbeing Partnering - Collaborate with the Head of People and Culture in rolling out and implementing the HS&W strategy across the business. - Project manage and lead HS&W initiatives. - Manage and administer all H&S hazards, risks, incidents, accidents and near miss activity. Ensure Ceres H&S system is used to capture and report all H&S matters as required. Ensure SOPs are updated as required. - Provide advice and tools to help build HS&W awareness and capability in the relevant areas. - Conduct H&S audits and risk assessments of sites and workspaces as required. - Investigate incidents to find root causes and recommend corrective actions incorporating "Lessons Learned" and Toolbox Talks. **Skills and experience**: - Minimum 2 - 5 years' experience in an HR Advisor/ HR/H&S Business Partnering role. - Ideally you will have worked in a warehousing or operations environment, but this is not a deal breaker. - Must have experience in supporting health, safety and wellbeing. - Strong knowledge of relevant employment and H&S legislation in NZ.
