Are you a commercially savvy finance professional ready to influence strategic decisions and drive transformation? We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to support our Technology and Transformation team in an 8 month, fixed-term opportunity based out of our Auckland office.

**About the role**

As a Finance Business Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Technology and Transformation function with financial insight, performance analysis, and strategic guidance. You'll be the go-to expert for interpreting financial results, driving forecasting accuracy, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

You'll lead month-end processes, champion automation to streamline workflows, and shift focus from manual tasks to value-adding insights. Your work will directly support budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and investment decisions, ensuring financial structures align with both gross margin and broader financial metrics.

Some of the key responsibilities are:

- Partner with Technology and Transformation leaders to deliver financial insights and performance analysis.
- Lead month-end processes and drive automation to improve efficiency.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and business plans with a focus on risk and opportunity.
- Support strategic initiatives and business cases with robust financial modelling.
- Mentor Finance Analysts and build financial acumen across the business.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and promote the Finance function.

**About you**
- Proven experience in financial analysis or management accounting.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and strong financial literacy.
- Proven ability to challenge and influence business decisions.
- Experience leading or coaching teams and working cross-functionally.
- Strong communication and financial modelling skills.
- Curiosity, resilience, and a proactive mindset.
