In this critical role, you’ll guide your team to deliver on our claims strategy, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and play a key part in building trusted relationships with customers, brokers, and strategic partners.

**Employment Type**: Full Time - Permanent
**Team Size**: 8-12 Claims Consultants

**What You’ll Be Doing**

As a first line leader, you will:

- Lead, coach and motivate a team of 8-12 Claims Consultants to consistently meet performance and customer experience goals
- Create a purpose-driven environment by linking team objectives to wider business strategy
- Champion continuous improvement and drive operational excellence within the team
- Manage complex claim escalations and support effective resolution of disputed claims
- Build strong relationships with brokers, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration
- Support the wellbeing and engagement of your team while fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture
- Model Suncorp’s values and behaviours, and promote a strong risk and compliance mindset

**What You’ll Bring**

- Proven leadership experience, ideally within insurance, financial services, or a contact centre/claims environment
- The ability to inspire, influence and empower a diverse team
