You will be responsible for getting the maximum benefit out of our Finance systems, to take ownership of, enhance the systems and look for innovative ways to improve the systems used by the Finance unit. Fantastic communication skills will help you build strong relationships throughout the business.

**What are we looking for?**

Attitude is key. We are seeking someone who has knowledge of financial systems, who can jump down rabbit holes to understand the end-to-end process, identify areas for improvement and find solutions.

Someone who is customer centric, willing to take the initiative, and can collaborate with different functions across the council. You will ideally have practical financial xperience using large reporting and financial systems - particularly SAP S/4HANA, BPC, and BW/4HANA or similar. Other business warehouse tools and report modelling tools are a bonus.

You are a person who is curious, enjoys interactions on all levels, can build trust, and is eager to listen and learn from those around you. You will thrive in an ever-changing environment.
