As a senior member of OD, and part of the Leadership & Transformation team, the **OD Manager** will be responsible for developing and delivering strategic leadership, engagement and culture transformation interventions. The role offers a unique opportunity to both facilitate and lead project work from designing and facilitating leadership development programmes, coaching leadership teams, supporting major change initiatives and to driving culture change.

The Organisational Development Team, part of the Human Resources Directorate, exists to partner with leaders and our people to build the capability and culture the University needs to succeed now and in the future. We are strongly focused on building the people experience that enables the university to deliver its strategic objectives and exceptional results. We have an exciting mandate for change, in an organisation that has a significant impact on graduate careers, world class research and our communities in New Zealand. Our four OD practice areas work together support the success of the University.

**He kōrero mōu | About you**

You’ll be passionate about leadership, culture and transformation and driven to make a difference for your customers and the organisation. Being authentically committed to working collaboratively, you’ll be a key player in our high performing and supportive team. As a lifelong learner who thrives on staying up to date with leading-edge practices, you’ll be skilled at translating these into simple and practical solutions that work for customers in their specific contexts.

You’ll have direct experience of delivering high-impact culture interventions, transformation methodologies and designing and facilitating leadership programmes that generate sustained behavioural change.

**Important Skills/ Experience| Nga Pūkenga Motuhake**
- Direct experience in designing and delivering a range of strategic culture, engagement, employee listening frameworks, leadership/talent development and transformation projects
- Knowledge of indigenous leadership methodologies (particularly Māori and Pacific), an advantage.
- Stakeholder management experience and consulting within a large complex organisation
- Change management and OD/Learning methodologies essential, with agile and human centred design skills advantageous
- Project leadership or team leadership, either directly or in a project environment
- Experience in complex, large-mid scale project management
- Knowledge of te ao Māori and the implications of the Treaty of Waitangi/ or interest in learning
- Generalist knowledge of other OD and HR areas
