We have an exciting new opportunity available to join our Albany based Support Centre as an **Organisational Development Specialist.**
As part of our People Team, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of organisation wide interventions and initiatives to develop Mitre 10’s culture, performance and working practices and processes that will drive our strategic ambition.
You will work to improve the culture, people experience and performance of the organisation, striving to embed the intent of our employment brand We’re Family and our desire to be an irresistible workplace into everything you do.
**Reporting to the Head of Capability & Organisational Development your key functions will include**:
- Work with your leader and the Chief People Officer to develop and evolve the organisational develop roadmap that supports Mitre 10’s strategic ambition and roadmap
- Leverage voice of team feedback to identify opportunities for development across Mitre 10
- Understand the capabilities required in 2 - 5 years reflecting strategic ambition, employment and talent market
- Support the development of measures to ensure initiatives deliver value
- Design, develop and deliver programmes and initiatives to build organisational capabilities
- Strive to evolve and improve change capability, leadership capability, continuous improvement focus, commercial acumen and organisation culture and performance
- Coordinate and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure programmes deliver improved people experience, performance and effectiveness
- Create and curate our diversity, equity and inclusion roadmap, supporting the delivery of initiatives and activities to build awareness and DE&I capability
- Create and curate activities to improve Te Reo Māori capability across Mitre 10
- Act as a role model for team members across the business, championing Mitre 10 Values and Mindsets
**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
- Organisational Development experience in a large complex organisation.
- Experience with OKR frameworks and modern ways of working including Agile.
- A passion for improving people experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Collaborative by nature, consulting and working with others to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
