**The Faculty of Business & Economics**

Housed in the state of the art architecturally designed Sir Owen G Glenn Building, our top-ranked, triple-crown accredited University of Auckland Business School is seeking to recruit established and early career academics to join its world class faculty. It is the largest business school in New Zealand and has an international reputation for academic excellence. The Business School comprises seven academic departments with a strong reputation across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. **Mō tō mātou rōpū | About the team**

The Department of Accounting and Finance, one of seven departments within the Faculty of Business and Economics, is ranked highly amongst other Accounting and Finance departments in New Zealand. The teaching programme is strong and innovative, and the quality of teaching, as judged by student evaluations and peer review, is very high. The academics in the Department of Accounting and Finance have an excellent publication record and are publishing their work in the very best journals in their field. Their research is organised in four disciplinary areas: 1) Financial Accounting 2) Management Accounting 3) Assurance and Accounting Information Systems and 4) Finance. The Department offers a full suite of degree programmes, including contributing to undergraduate core courses, undergraduate majors in Accounting and Finance and Honours, Masters, and PhD programmes. The Department also contributes to the Master of Professional Accounting, the Master of Management, the Master of Business Management, and the PGDipBus in the Graduate School of Management.

Remuneration - $91,000 to $109,000

**Qualifications**:
**He kōrero mōu | About you**

You are an energetic, can-do person with postgraduate business-related qualifications. A PhD (or soon to be completed PhD) in business-related disciplines, such as Accounting and Finance, is highly desirable. Teaching experience at an undergraduate level is required.
