The Group Finance & Performance team has oversight for performance management, financial control, corporate office income and expenditure, settlements, treasury accounting, Group IT accounting, and is a key interface across the Group from a finance perspective.

**About the role**
- We have an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute Group Accounting Manager to join the team.

In this role you’ll ensure Fletcher Building meets the accounting and reporting requirements that arise by virtue of being a listed issuer in multiple jurisdictions, through the provision of accurate technical accounting assessments and recommendations, assist with the delivery of the Group’s Interim and Annual Reports to shareholders, support FB businesses with administration of the Group’s lease accounting system and partner with divisional and business unit management to provide ad hoc financial and accounting advice.

You’ll assist in the development of high-quality reporting practices that communicate value to investors and analysts through our external reporting programme. Your project management skills will be put to the test as you oversee the co-ordination and management of various sections of the Group Interim and Annual Report, liaising with external and stakeholders to ensure that data and information detailed in these reports is delivered in an accurate and timely manner.

**About you**
- You’ll hold a relevant tertiary qualification and be CA qualified or equivalent. You may be ready to leave a Big 4 accounting firm and secure your first commercial role, or perhaps you’re currently in a commercial business looking for the next step in your career. Either way, you’ll come equipped with in-depth knowledge and understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards and a proven ability to find practical solutions to sometimes complex problems, including those of a technical accounting nature.

Critical to your success will be your exceptional relationship management and communication skills as you’ll be dealing with many different stakeholders, both internally and externally.
