**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

We have a permanent teaching role for a Lecturer in Finance to start in Semester 2, 2025. While evidence of an ability to teach across a range of finance areas will be beneficial, particular preference will be given to those with experience coordinating capstone and applied project courses and/or financial modelling expertise.

This is an opportunity for an early career lecturer or near to completion PhD graduate or otherwise someone with at least two years of relevant industry experience at a senior level within the last five years (where that experience is not within the last five years, there must be evidence that professional currency has been maintained in the intervening period). The industry experience requirement is waived for recent PhD graduates or those who expect to complete in 2025.

You'll teach across programmes as agreed with the Head of Department. We embrace innovative practice-led, technology-enabled, and research-informed approaches to teaching where the student experience is optimised.

- A PhD in finance (or near completion) or at least two years of recent relevant industry experience
- Previous tertiary-level teaching experience in
- Knowledge and experience with teaching and learning technologies (e.g., Canvas)
- A flexible, collaborative, open, and engaging attitude, able to adapt to departmental teaching requirements.
