Te Wānanga o Aotearoa is looking for an Advisor Tauira Recruitment that will contribute to the annual recruitment of tauira at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. The successful applicant will be part of a team that will build and maintain relationships within the community. The role will also require the successful applicant to bring innovative thinking when promoting Te Wānanga o Aotearoa through events, community projects and marketing campaigns.

You will have proven experience-building relationships with a range of audiences including young people, Māori, Pasifika and/ or migrant communities.

This position can be based from our Ōtautahi Wānanga Campus and you will support our wider Canterbury region, therefore, frequent travel across this region is required. The successful applicant MUST have a Full NZ Driver's License, comfortable driving long distances, and readily available to do overnight trips.

**Minimum requirements for this role are**:

- A Diploma in business or marketing-related field;
- At least three years’ experience in marketing, recruitment or education;
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills and be confident to speak in public;
- An understanding of marketing and sales concepts is an advantage; and
- A sound understanding of brand representation in the community.

A basic understanding of te reo Māori phrases, mihi and greetings and of Māori values, culture and tikanga is expected.
