Due to a restructure of our Strategic Policy and Resilience Unit, we are looking to recruit a number of new Advisory positions within the Climate Resilience Team. If you have a background or interest in Climate Resilience, then we would love to hear from you. The current vacancies are that of Advisor, Senior Advisor and Principal Advisor. Whilst at varying levels of seniority, the overall purpose of these positions is to provide professional advice and analysis to customers, staff and Council on matters related to climate resilience.

With the support of the Team Leader Climate Resilience and wider team, these roles will advise and contribute to the ongoing review, revision and development of climate resilience focused strategies. Your advice will cover environmental, economic, social and culture perspectives. You'll use your previous experience in a relevant position to make your mark on Christchurch..

You'll be confident in building effective working relationships with both public sector and private sector stakeholders, advocating to them the matters of importance to climate resilience. Experience in a similar or relevant field, along with qualifications in climate resilience, environmental science or similar would see you succeed in these roles.
