**About the Role**
The HR Team at Canon is responsible for every aspect of the HR portfolio within this fast-paced Sales and Services Business - from the operational to the strategic, team members play the role of Strategic Partner, Change Agent, Employee Champion, and Administrative Expert.
The HR Business Partner is an integral part of the business and seeks to develop effective working relationships, influence and challenge individual contributors and leaders on their personal style and support the delivery of the people plan to realise business area objectives.
**The scope of the role includes**:
- Stakeholder Management
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the business, its strategies, business priorities, issues, and challenges
- Build and maintain effective professional relationships with HR team members and client group stakeholders
- Work closely with the Senior HR Business Partner and the broader HR team (including, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Organisational Development, HR Advisory) to deliver the People Plan for assigned client groups
- Be the first point of contact for HR queries from client groups
- Employee Relations
- Coach and guide people leaders through employee relations matters, ensuring the identification of practical, commercial solutions
- Influence, advise and educate leaders in people and performance related issues and coach them to deliver key messages to their team members
- Work closely with leaders and individual contributors to improve work relationships, build engagement, and increase productivity and retention
- Provide informed and sound HR advice to stakeholders
- HR Advisory
- Support with the execution of HR operational objectives, including, but not limited to, Policies, Processes, Procedures, Compliance, Leave Management, Performance Management, Remuneration, Induction, and Workers Compensation
- Talent and Succession
- Assist with Talent Management processes for client groups
- Identify gaps in Talent and Succession Plans and partner with client groups to address
**About you**
This is the ideal opportunity to leverage your full breadth of HR business partnering and outstanding relationship building skills. To be successful in this role, you must be willing to be hands on and agile, be able to manage multiple projects and issues at once, work autonomously and appreciate the day to day operational and functional elements of the role.
You have a proven track record as a well-rounded HR Business Partner with managing ER matters end-to-end, and you thrive on acting as a trusted advisor to your business stakeholders.
