You will be joining a great team in a large, complex New Zealand organisation as a trusted partner for all things HR related to the organisation, providing operational strategic HR support to a number of key business units. You will be working closely with senior leaders to deliver effective strategic HR initiatives.

We are looking for HR Generalists to operate in this fast paced, busy role in a unionised environment, therefore previous experience in a similar role is highly advantageous.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Leading the ER and IR aspects of major change management processes
- Supporting employees and managers who are impacted by change processes
- Ensuring that there is day-to-day guidance to line managers including coaching, counselling, career development, policy interpretation and corrective action guidance
- Working with line managers to identify development needs for High Potential/High Performing employees
- Provide support with workplace investigations and disciplinaries
- Ensure managers and staff are provided with appropriate and timely advice and support
- Providing managers with guidance on remuneration reviews
- Provide support on HR strategy and projects as required

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Previous experience in provide HR support and partnership in a change environment, including assessing potential ER and organisational risks.
